Hi Stefan,
Sorry to bother you, but i was under the impression that Ad Mentor worked with Flash Banners.
If so, please tell me what am i doing wrong, because i can't seem to make a single flash banner work with this software, not even the demo provided in the folder Bannermedia.
I have setup a page in my website for test:
http://www.bass-brothers-team.com/teste_publicidade.htm
When i refresh it, only the non-flash banner works.
In the same page i've inserted the normal code to play a fixed flash banner (as i normaly do) and it works fine. But i sure would like to be able to rotate these flash banners.
Also in Ad Mentor Adminmedia.asp not a single flash banner appears on screen, only the normal fized banners (Jpeg)
Any help would be appreciated,
Jaime Sacadura

Well, after searching the forum, let me answer my own question.
You just insert the Object Flash code in an HTML banner - simple, after you know what you are supposed to do.
The topic i found regarding the Flash Banners:
http://kbmentor.aspcode.net/l_en-US/t_default/AdMentor/ASPversion/Flash_ads_article_19.aspx
But i must be doing something wrong, as i've inserted 4 HTML Flash banners and only one is displayed.
Do we have to insert the quotes so the other banners are displayed?
What did i do wrong now?

Hi Jaime,
there should be nothing special to do. Could it be you just have forgotten to set weight ( needs to be > 0 for a banner to be active) ?

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your answer and for a great program.
No, i've just checked and the weight was the same for all the banners.
I've investigated further and the only ad that was displayed had the flash file in the website root. So the problem was simple - the html code copy i did to HTM Banner didn't have the right path for the media files. The diference of adding a new banner and uploading the media to the AdMentor folder and adding an independent HTML code file was just not understand by me completely.
Now, i need help in keeping track of flash banner clicks. In my Flash banners i have a button that when clicked delivers the page with the right URL. Should i use Redir URL also? Or is it redundant and unnecessary?
I have tried the but apparently the clicks are not being tracked by the program.
Also, is it necessary to include the ADM_RANDOM in the Object Flash code? The banners seem to be appearing randomly enough...
Thanks for your help,
Jaime Sacadura

Ok Jaime, let try to get this working. I am not very good at flash but has got it working for me so maybe I don't explain very well but I think we could get it working
To trace clicks you need to get the clickTag working in the flash file:
http://www.macromedia.com/resources/richmedia/tracking/designers_guide/
Then you just specify (in the admentor html code)
And no, the ADM_RANDOM stuff is not applicible for flash ads.
